Janet (and Richard) are two of my favorite people - very loving and caring in every possible way ! Our world will be a little less loving with her gone - all her cards and notes were SO encouraging. I am glad she gets to be with Richard and Ricky in the most glorious place of all. Take heart and trust in Jesus - His promise of eternal life is TRUE ! Janet cared for and supported us so, so consistently. We will never forget her. Pastor Mike (and Mickey) Pike
Every so often, God puts someone in your life who truly knows how to make you feel special. Mrs. Ski had that ability and each and every preschool child felt her love and devotion. My son, Jonathan Sisson, was blessed to be greeted by that smiling face each day.
Please accept our sincere sympathy at this time.

Dear Schlosky Family,
I have so many wonderful memories of your mom. She was such a wonderful and loving person. Mrs. Ski was my nursery school teacher in the early 70's. She then became one of my moms best friends as they worked together at the nursery school. At some point she became family to me and all of my family members, she also went on to be my children's nursery school teacher as well. There are so many wonderful memories in my heart. I am so sorry for your loss and my prayers are with your family at this time.
Portsmouth has lost a truly beloved person. She made such a positive impact on the lives of my children and hundreds of others. Just a happy, wonderful and caring educator committed to all our kids. She will be missed, but with a smile.
I have many happy memories working with Janet when we attended the PUMC years ago. Her and Richard were wonderful people who always showed their love for others. You can be certain that God welcomed Janet into her Heavenly Home with open arms.

The photo I posted is one of my favorites of Janet. I am broken-hearted at losing this dearest friend. She was my "comfort person" with whom I, along with my family, have shared life for nearly 50 years! When Janet loves you, you know what true love and friendship are! Memories will forever remain in my mind and heart. Rest In Peace, my sweet, sweet friend! All love and sympathy to the family from our family. The Sheffield Family
Dear Schlosky Family,
I cannot remember a time when I ever saw Janet without a smile on her face. She exuded comfort and warmth!
My prayers are with you all.
Much love,
Shirley
Thanks, Mrs. Ski for your ever present smile and welcome!!! You are loved! Heaven has another angel!
