Why Not Start Planning Ahead Now?

Why Not Start Planning Ahead Now?

The New Year is a time where many of us decide that we are going to improve our lives, whether it be eating healthier or exercising more. Another thing that we can do is start to make arrangements for what we want to happen to us and our earthly possessions when we die. We know, it is not something anyone looks forward to doing, but it is one of the biggest gifts that you can give yourself and your loved ones.

It is also a way to ensure that your family does not have to pay huge amounts of money out of pocket or be stuck in complicated legal hurdles that can take many months to resolve after someone’s death. If you make the decision to plan ahead, one of our funeral directors and advance planning specialists will guide you through every step of the pre-planning process so that when the time comes, everything has been taken care of and you have the farewell that you want.

Also, by paying for your funeral needs now, you will ultimately save yourself and your loved ones money in the future.

Feel free to call us whenever to start the process. If you’re uncomfortable meeting in person, we can arrange a call or video chat. Our goal is to make the process as quick and as painless as possible, while also ensuring that all your desires are met so that when the time comes, you are honored in the way that you want.

Wow, October is almost done and November is just on the horizon! As we enter into the season of holidays, it can be even harder for those who have lost loved ones. Remembering special memories that you had with them and going through the pain of not having the ability to create new ones can be debilitating. In November, our Director of Community Relations and Grief Educator, Kim Shute will be running two workshops about “Hope for the Holidays” at Portsmouth Public Library from 1pm-2:30pm on Nov. 14th and another at the Middletown Public Library from 12:30pm-2pm on Nov. 16th. Experiencing loss can change the way we feel about those important dates in our lives, so please join us to discover ways of reducing stress and finding some peace during the holiday season. No registration or sign up needed.
